An Exakta collection usually starts with a pair of 35mm cameras, continues with other 35mm models, with some Exa and only after some time a VP shows up in their interest. Usually. I am re-designing these pages to help collectors to recognize the different models and versions so they can build their collection easily, without identification problems. If they wish more information they must buy the book written by Clement Aguila and Michel Rouah.

The VPs were the first Exaktas, reflex cameras for the long life 127 film, made popular by the VP Kodak cameras. Here on the left you can find the links to the different models (VP A, VP B, VP C, VP Jr, VP Night) in their different versions.

They are all from my collection, except the VP B Version 1 (39,5mm thread, 0,5mm pitch). I have heard only of 2 survived cameras (#403583 from the collection JP Salanick, France, and the other one from the Gary Cullen collection). I am looking for the third!

Another great item is the Ihagee Jr (I own one but I had 3 of the few survived in my hands!)
